Pressure Cooker PB & J Steel Cut Oats

  1. Add the steel cut oats, water, milk, and salt to your pressure cooker and close the lid.
  2. Set to “sealing,” then press manual/pressure cooker. Cook for five minutes on high pressure. Once it is done, press cancel, and let the pressure release naturally for ten minutes. Do a quick release for any remaining pressure.
  3. Remove the lid carefully and stir in the chia seeds. Let it sit for two to four minutes or until thickened.
  4. Divide the oatmeal evenly between bowls. Top with peanut butter, jam, and sliced banana. Enjoy!
  • 1/2 cup Steel Cut Oats
  • 3/4 cup Water
  • 1/2 cup Unsweetened Almond Milk
  • 1/8 tsp Sea Salt
  • 1 tbsp Chia Seeds
  • 3 tbsps All Natural Peanut Butter
  • 2 tbsps Strawberry Jam
  • 1 Banana (medium, sliced)

Leftovers

Refrigerate in an airtight container for up to five days. Add the toppings just before enjoying.

Serving Size

One serving is approximately one cup of oats with toppings.

Additional Toppings

Drizzle with maple syrup.
