Lani enjoys helping patients prevent diabetes, manage heart disease and cook healthy. She works primarily with adults, but also welcomes children and teens through a family-based approach to achieving a healthy lifestyle.

Lani graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from Loma Linda University in southern California. Since becoming a Registered Dietitian in 2015, Lani has worked in community health centers, acute and rehabilitation hospitals and bariatric surgery centers. She has also taught cooking classes!
Lani loves to replicate classic dishes with plant based ingredients and heritage whole grains in her home kitchen laboratory. Her mission is to perfect her whole grain sandwich bread. Lani is also a certified 200-hour yoga teacher and is studying the Yoga for All approach to serve trainees in non-traditional yoga bodies.
Before settling in Bellingham, Lani lived in California, Colorado and New Mexico. Her love for the outdoors drew her to Bellingham. And the great community gave her reason to stay. In her down time, you will likely spot her at the farmers market, yoga studio or dog-friendly hiking trails.
