Hello! My name is Laura, and I’m a dietitian at Sensibly Sprouted. During our time together, we’ll focus on building healthy habits that will help you achieve a sustainable and healthy lifestyle, all while making progress towards your health goals.

Laura has worked with pediatrics and gastrointestinal disorders such as IBS, IBD, constipation, and NAFLD. She also enjoys helping individuals work towards a healthier lifestyle, whether that’s through a more plant-based diet approach, reversing chronic illnesses, or simply feeling more energized.
Laura completed her undergraduate studies at Miami University in Oxford, OH and earned a Master of Science in Clinical Nutrition at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. She worked with Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center and Primary Children’s Hospital, specializing in gastrointestinal disorders. She also taught community nutrition classes, emphasizing healthy lifestyle changes for individuals and families.
Laura pursued her dream of living near the mountains by moving to Salt Lake City from Chicago. When she’s not mountain biking, rock climbing, skiing, hiking, or camping, she enjoys cooking. She’s currently working on a low-FODMAP-friendly cookbook and creating tasty recipes for gut health.
