When I became an athlete in college, I quickly realized how my nutrition choices were affecting my athletic performance, and I became obsessed with learning how I could fuel properly while still enjoying what I was eating—and not making it feel like a chore. In this journey, I was shocked at how little I knew about nutrition and how little education I had received in it growing up; I realized that most of the population must feel this way. This is where my passion for teaching nutrition started.
My approach to teaching nutrition and counseling people is always meant to be fun and I, more often than not, try to use a non-diet approach, but I truly believe that focusing on making lifestyle changes is a more sustainable way to reach your health goals. When it comes to nutrition, there is not a one-size-meets-all strategy. I am here to meet you wherever you are in your journey and we will figure out the most suitable plan together.
Maybe you are trying to lose weight, gain weight, perform better during your favorite sport or just looking for general healthy eating or meal planning – I am here to help! I look forward to working with you.
